ÂDasavatharÂ: Perfection all the way

The coming together of committed professions with immense knowledge in their area of expertise is what brings about the incredible magic of good filmmaking. This is the how scores of Hollywood action flicks keep us at the edge of our seats in awe and admiration.
Kamal Haasan's ÂDasavathar has taken a leaf out of this professional brilliance in every facet literally.
With the script demanding huge stunt and action sequences, Kamal Haasan had chosen Andy Dixon, a renowned stunt choreographer from Hollywood whose credits include the likes of Miami Vice, Transporter 2 and Ace Ventura-Pet Detective etc.
Dixon is an expert in car chase sequences and making of rigs for high voltage action scenes. Rigs are tailor- made equipments that help execute high- risk action sequences with perfection without putting men or machines into jeopardy. He works with a ten member crew specializing in wire fights. The crew also includes a Hai-Kido (Japanese martial art) master, a Parkour jump expert, race drivers, stuntmen and stunt women.
The end sequence of the movie, as Dixon puts it, would be remembered for a very long time. Dashing action sequences filmed with appropriate rigs have been shot worldwide.
The same team that performs for the hugely popular AXN serial 'Extreme Stunts' have involved themselves for the car chases sequences of ÂDasavatharÂ. The team is headed by Grady Bishop, a dare devil driver based in Florida, U.S.A.
Apart from the U.S. team, a Japanese Hai-Kido master named Sonny Loke Chuan Sun, traveled all the way to the U.S, and joined the crew at their U.S. schedule to choreograph the Hai-Kido fight sequence in the film.
Magnificent planning with a thirst for perfection. That is Kamal Haasan and ÂDasavathar for you.
